Plans and billing

What do the plans cost?

Creators is $14.99 a month or $99 a year. Pro is $34.99 a month or $249 a year. Enterprise is priced per organisation — talk to us.

Annual billing is the same product at a lower rate; there is no feature locked behind it.

What is the difference between Creators and Pro?

The catalogue is the same. What changes is what you are licensed to do with it.

Creators carries the Personal License: YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and podcasts, including monetised channels. Pro carries the Commercial License, which adds paid advertising, corporate video, client work and independent documentary.

When do I need Enterprise?

When the work is broadcast or theatrical, when several people need to download under one account, or when your legal team needs clearance documentation beyond the standard certificate. Email sales@planeteast.co.

Can I cancel, and do I get money back?

Yes. Cancelling ends the subscription straight away and refunds the unused portion of the period you already paid for, pro rata, to the card you paid with.

What happens to tracks I already downloaded if I cancel?

They stay licensed. The certificate is valid as long as your subscription was active on the day you downloaded the track, so projects you have already delivered are unaffected. You just cannot download anything new until you resubscribe.

Licensing and rights

What exactly am I granted?

A non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to synchronise the track with video, digital media and commercial projects, within the scope of your plan. The licence is issued to your account and is not transferable to someone else.

A platform put a copyright claim on my video. Now what?

Submit the licence certificate that came in your download ZIP. It names the track, the artist, your account and a certificate ID, and it is what these disputes are resolved with. If a claim does not clear, send us the certificate ID at support@planeteast.co and we will deal with it.

Do I have to credit the artist?

Not required, but the artists are real people who earn a share of every download. If the format gives you room for a credit, they will take it.

What am I not allowed to do?

Redistribute or resell the audio as audio — that means uploading tracks to a stock library, a sample pack, a streaming service, or an AI training dataset. The licence covers using music inside your work, not selling the music itself. Full detail is in the Terms of Use.

Downloads

Is there a download limit?

There is a fair-use daily cap: 5 downloads a day on Creators, 10 on Pro, and no cap on Enterprise. It resets every day. It exists to stop bulk scraping, not to ration normal work.

What is in the file I download?

A ZIP containing the master audio and a licence certificate PDF made out to your account, dated, and naming the track and artist. You can re-download the certificate later from your download history.

Does my subscription cover loop bundles and templates?

Not quite. Your plan covers full tracks and individual loops.

Loop bundles and project templates are sold separately as one-time purchases, and stay in your account permanently once bought — whether or not you keep a subscription.

Can I preview before paying?

Yes. Browsing and full-length previews are free and do not need an account. Signing up lets you save tracks; a plan is only needed to download.

The catalogue

Where does the music come from?

It is recorded by artists we work with directly — original recordings built around Middle Eastern instrumentation and modern production, not licensed-in stock. More about how it is made.

How accurate are the BPM and key values?

They are analysed from the audio on upload rather than typed in by hand, and reviewed by us where a track is ambiguous — modal and rubato material can be genuinely hard to pin to one number. If something looks wrong, tell us and we will re-check it.

I am a musician. Can I sell through PlanetEast?

We onboard artists directly rather than through an open upload queue. Send links to your work to sales@planeteast.co.
